Lilia Slavny was born in Moscow in 1973 and graduated from the music high-school, "nr. The Tschaikovsky Conservatory". Since then she has completed her B.A. degree with honors in modern and baroque violin, at the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Israel, under the tutelage of professor Michael Kugel and Daniel Fradkin. In 1993 she began to develop an interest in the historical performance of Baroque music. Lilia participated regularly in the Jerusalem Early Music Workshop, where her teachers included Walter Reiter, Andrew Manze, John Holloway and Catherine Mackintosh. She is a principal player of the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, conducted by David Shemer and is a member of the Jerusalem Consort. During her musical career, she has performed with such musicians as James Bowman, Maggie Cole, Anthony Rooley, Shalev Ad-El, Walter Reiter, Linda Perillo and others. Lilia has played in many important festivals such as the Utrecht Early Music festival and the Festival Brezice in Slovenia. She participated in a CD recording of a full set of Handel solo sonatas with Shalev Ad-El, which is soon to be distributed. Meanwhile she is completing her Masters' Degree at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, studying with prof. Elizabeth Wallfish.

Haru Kitamika started her musical career at the age of thirteen as a recorder player and played many chamber music under the direction of her father, the late Fumio Kitamika. She completed the Music Graduate Course at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in Japan studying harpsichord, where her main teacher was Prof. Masaaki Suzuki, as well as gaining a degree of Master of Arts in Music, specializing in instrumental music (harpsichord). Following the completion of her studies in Japan, she was awarded a prestigious scholarship from the Dutch government to study with Patrick Ayrton at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague from September1998, where she is currently studying, and was awarded another scholarship from Japanese government from September 2001. She won the first prize in two major ensemble competitions with the ensemble Opera Quarta; in Van Wassenaer Concours (The Netherlands, October 2002) together with the best Dutch ensemble prize and in Premio Bonporti International Chamber Music Competition on Period Instruments (Italy, November 2002) with the special Bonporti prize. She is active as an ensemble player in many countries in Europe as well as in Japan. She has played concerts and made recordings with Bach Collegium Japan, Orchestra Libera Classica, New Dutch Academy, Les Delices, De Swaen, Ensemble Braccio, Spirit of Gambo, L'Arpeggiata, Combattimento Consort.
