Informatie over de uitvoerende(n)

Gaudicantus is dedicated to the performance of vocal and instrumental music of 18th century Europe. The group formed while the members were students at the prestigious Royal Conservatory in The Hague, Netherlands. There they studied with some of the most renowned names in early music today, such as Jaap ter Linden, Jacques Ogg, Enrico Gatti, Sebastien Marq, Marius van Altena, and Peter van Heyghen. Each musician has performed extensively throughout Europe and abroad - with such ensembles as the Orchestra of the 18th Century, European Union Baroque Orchestra, Baroque Opera Amsterdam, Modo Antiquo Firenze, and La Stravaganza Koeln - and each use their rich experiences to form this ensemble of exceptional quality and skill.
